Scottish Noir with Alex Gray and Lisa Ballantyne

Founder of the Stirling-based crime festival Bloody Scotland, winner of the Scottish Association of Writers’ Constable and Pitlochry trophies, Alex Gray is well established at the heart of what’s now been termed ‘Tartan Noir’. At the forefront of Scotland’s tough, gritty crime fiction scene are many of her novels, and notably her series following Detective Lorimer.

The latest, Redemption Road, is steeped in the ghosts and sin that haunt many a family, she follows an estranged father and daughter, exploring the strength of family ties and our huge capacity for forgiveness.
