Richard Hannay, John Buchan’s perennial hero, most widely known from his appearance in The Thirty-Nine Steps, returns for a new adventure penned by Scottish author, Robert J. Harris. Set in June 1940, as German troops sweep across France, Richard Hannay is called back in to service and tasked with tracking down a code that has fallen into Nazi hands. With Europe’s future at risk only the secret of the Thirty-One Kings, and Hannay himself, can help.

Robert J. Harris was born in Dundee and attended the University of St Andrews, returning to the town after extensive travels in America. Known as a novelist, and designer of the fantasy board game, Talisman, Robert is the perfect story teller to revive Richard Hannay for the 21st Century. Join us for a wonderful evening with a local author, and a rip-roaring adventure.
