Winner of the Costa Poetry Prize, all three Forward Prizes, and the TS Eliot Prize (twice), Don Paterson is one of the most lauded poets writing in Scotland today. A Professor at the University of St Andrews, his previous collections include Nil Nil, Rain, and 40 Sonnets, and he is also the author of aphorisms, collected in The Fall at Home, and criticism, most significantly in The Poem: Lyric, Sign, Metre.

Don joins us to mark the publication of his latest collection, which takes its bearings from the first series of  The Twilight Zone. Zonal is an experiment in autobiography and science fiction. Narrative and dramatic in approach, these poems change voices constantly in an attempt to get at the truth by alternate means, taking us to places and spaces that feel endlessly surprising and limitless.
