Davy Zyw has spent his entire career in fine wine and fizz, and his expert knowledge is presented in the indispensable new guide, 101 Champagnes and Sparkling Wines to Try Before You Die, for enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike.

Joining us in the bookshop for an evening of tasters & samplings, this is the perfect pre-Christmas event. With the log fire crackling and the champagne flowing, Davy will take us on an accessible and authoritative journey through the wine market. There will be advice, tasting notes and tips on the best sparkling wines – from the finest supermarket proseccos to the most splendid vintage champagnes – and some tasters on hand for the full experience (so make sure to assign a designated driver!).

Davy Zyw started his wine career in Edinburgh, moving to London’s Mayfair as a sommelier at La Gavroche, later moving to Tesco where he developed their Italian wine range. He is currently buyer for Champagne and Italian Wines at Berry Bros & Rudd.
