We are delighted to welcome Susie Steiner to introduce a superb new crime series, set in Cambridgeshire! In Missing, Presumed we meet Detective Sergeant Manon Bradshaw, a fantastic new female protagonist. When Edith Hind, a Cambridge post-graduate from a well-connected local family, vanishes - door ajar, smear of blood on the kitchen floor – Manon knows the case will be big. She has 72 hours to find Edith, or start looking for a body. When a body is found, the case becomes increasingly more complex… We loved this book particularly because its local setting is so vivid; Manon’s trip to Ely is of course a highlight! Susie will be joining us with her contact on the Cambridgeshire Police Force, DS Graham McMillan, to give us a fascinating insight into the world of Fen policing. Come along to meet a new star of the crime writing scene.
