Amazingly it is thirty years since Peter Robinson introduced us to his Yorkshire based detective DCI Alan Banks. In that time Banks has featured in over twenty books and been successfully adapted for television, solving the many and various crimes that take place in the Yorkshire Dales.  Sleeping in the Ground tells of a shocking mass murder at a wedding in a small  church and its aftermath. Banks is plagued with doubts as to exactly what happened outside the church that day, and why.  Feeling the need to dig deeper into the murders he uncovers forensic and psychological puzzles that lead him to the past secrets that might just provide the answers he is looking for. Join us to celebrate thirty years of Banks with his creator, Peter Robinson.
