Join Sue Burge, poet and lecturer, for a day of creation.  There will be inspiring and innovative exercises to help you produce fresh and original poems inspired by some of the great American poets. All levels welcome.

Sue Burge is a freelance film studies and creative writing lecturer based in Norfolk.  Her poems have appeared in a wide variety of publications such as Mslexia, Orbis, Brittle StarThe Lampeter ReviewThe North, Stride and Ink, Sweat and Tears.  Sue was longlisted in both the 2016 National Poetry Competition and the Fish Poetry Prize and has been longlisted for the Live Canon Debut Collectoin Competition.  Last year she received an Arts Council grant to write poetry which responded to Paris’s cinematic legacy. The workshop will run from 11.00 to 4.30pm, and lunch will be provided.
