We welcome back The Grantchester Mysteries to Ely as James returns with his character Sidney Chambers to talk about The Perils of the Night.

It’s 1955 and Sidney, accompanied by his faithful Labrador, once more teams up with the increasingly exasperated Inspector, Geordie Keating, on the detective trail. They find themselves inquiring into the unexpected fall of a Cambridge don from the roof of King’s College Chapel, a case of arson at a glamour photographer’s studio, and the mysterious poisoning of Grantchester’s finest spin bowler, Zafar Ali.
