Reading Group - Fictions & The Invention

Creating awe-inspiring dream-like worlds of puzzlement and mystery within a tiny space, the short fictions of Borges are amongst the most original and intriguing writings of the last century. Perhaps the most characteristic of his collections is paired with a dazzling miniature mystery novel  by his protege Bioy Casares - a work he described as an "odyssey of marvels", and which has exerted a strong underground influence on both literature and film.
