Coinneach MacLeod, otherwise known as The Hebridean Baker, has become a Scottish baking sensation. In his new book, he shares recipes for delicious traditional Scottish bakes alongside fascinating stories of island life, offering a true taste of Scotland’s wild and windswept Outer Hebrides.

Focusing on small bakes that use a simple set of ingredients, these recipes are all about rustic, home baking and old family favourites – as Coinneach says, ‘homemade is always best’. Think croft loaf, cranachan chocolate bombs, heilan’ coo cupcakes, Granny Annag’s christmas cake and Aunt Bellag’s Duff. And with his faithful West Highland Terrier Seoras by his side every step of the way, Coinneach will even help you teach your dog Gaelic, while you enjoy some truly delicious Scottish bakes.

If you don’t already know the delights of the Hebridean Baker, we promise you’re in for a treat. Join us for a talk and tasters with Coinneach and Joy this September.
