Secret Edinburgh Walking Tour

Hannah Robinson’s Secret Edinburgh is the perfect companion for those seeking to discover new corners of our historic city this summer, as many of us are staying local. From mystery mosaics to hidden Cold War bunkers, this guide takes us on an unusual journey through Edinburgh and is packed full of witty, dark and heartwarming tales from the city’s past.

We are delighted that Hannah will be joining us for a series of Secret Edinburgh walking tours, where she will take small groups to a few of her favourite spots from the book. Please make sure to wear suitable walking shoes and do be aware that the walk might include uneven pavements and steps. We will be going ahead rain or shine, so please come prepared for any weather eventuality!

This will be an outside event and one of our booksellers will be on hand to make sure we are keeping a safe distance from each other while we are on the walk. Everything will be within current Scottish government guidelines, so we hope this can be a relaxed and enjoyable event for everybody.

We will start the walk from the bookshop, where you are welcome to enjoy a pot of tea or coffee before we start. We will come back to the bookshop at the end for a cup of something and the opportunity to browse. Hannah will also be happy to sign and dedicate books afterwards.
