Feminist Fiction Reading Group

Our September pick for the Fiction Reading Group is the brilliantly absurdist novel, Bunny by Mona Awad! A perfect read for the eerie atmosphere of Edinburgh in September, I anticipate there will be a lot to discuss, which means we are going to start this session a little earlier at 19:00.

For those who have not read this bestselling novel yet, this book follows our main character Samantha, who starts a Creative Writing Masters Program, where there are a strange group of girls in her workshop cohort. The three of them refer to each other as "Bunny," which at first Samantha scoffs at a criticizes, but it further intrigued by what they do outside of class and gets sucked into their dangerous and...strange extracurricular activities. This book is a cross-section of Heathers, Mean Girls, and The Craft - which is undoubtedly a lot of fun.

Each place costs £5 per ticket, which can be redeemed as a voucher towards a copy of the book. We hope you’ll join us for some great conversation, and a glass of wine on us!
