Join us for the last Feminist Fiction Reading Group of 2023!

For November 21st, we will be reading Destransition, Baby by Torrey Peters, which follows Reese, who seemingly has obtained the perfect life in New York, with a perfect relationship and a perfect job. Reese convinces themselves that this is what many trans women dream of, but her life is turned upside down and all around sideways when the opportunity to have a child comes into her life. If you have your copy already, you might have spied that previous Reading Group author Carmen Maria Machado has a quote on the cover, saying this book was "So good I want to scream." This will for sure be an interesting read, as family drama will arise in new and unexpected ways for our characters.

As a reminder, this is going to be on Tuesday, November 21st instead of our usual meetings on Mondays, but we will still be having our usual great discussions, accompanied by a glass of wine and some snacks! Hope to see you there!
