N.B. This event is now taking place at Greenside Church (1b Royal Terrace, EH7 5AB). All other details remain unchanged.

Angela Harding - author, printmaker and illustrator - is a master of her forms. Beloved for her linocuts and screenprints that celebrate the beauty and wilderness of the British countryside, Angela is also known in the book world for bringing author's words to the visual sphere.

Angela comes to Edinburgh to tell us about her latest collaboration with conservationist and author of Wilding, Isabella Tree. Together, Angela and Isabella have created a beautiful illustrated version of Wilding, which tells the story of a remarkable experiment: the rewilding of the Knepp Estate in West Sussex.

Illustrated with lino prints and watercolours by Angela, the book explains how rewilding works and includes beautiful spreads featuring species that have returned and thrive including butterflies, bats, owls and beetles.

There are accessible in-garden activities to 're-wild' your own spaces and the book encourages young readers to slow down and observe the natural world around them, and start to understand the connections between species and habitats, and the huge potential for life right on their doorstep.

We hope you'll join us in raising a glass to this wonderful new project with one of the nations most beloved artists, Angela Harding!
