A Corruption of Blood is the third book by Ambrose Parry, the brilliant writing duo consisting of Chris Brookmyre and Marisa Haetzman. Chris is the acclaimed author of Black Widow and over 20 other novels, while Marisa is a consultant anaesthetist whose research uncovered the material upon which Ambrose Parry crime series is based.

In A Corruption of Blood, Dr Will Raven – a man seldom shocked by human remains – is disturbed by the contents of a package washed up at the Port of Leith. Stranger still, a man Raven has long detested is pleading for his help to escape the hangman.
