Since the Mead family bought their first farm in 1961, they have worked tirelessly to produce food ethically and sustainably. The well-earned success of this family-owned business is astonishing. Yeo Valley’s Somerset headquarters now runs talks, tours, workshops and even a Yeoversity, teaching schoolchildren about farming, sustainability and the surrounding countryside. Their first book, The Great British Farmhouse Cookbook, is a beautifully presented collection of over 100 delicious recipes, taking us on a seasonal journey through the English countryside, from delicious summer soups and salads to warming winter fare like roasts, pies and crumbles.
