Searingly honest, passionate, and full of verve, the extraordinary and fabulous comedian, Ruby Wax joins us to talk about her funny and compassionate book, How to Be Human. She poses an important question – why have we started treating ourselves more like machines and less like humans?

Ruby has campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness about mental health issues, including speaking at Downing Street to raise money for neuroscience research. She obtained a Masters Degree in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University to increase her understanding of the brain and used this knowledge in her bestselling books Sane New World: Taming the Mind and Frazzled. She was awarded an OBE for her services to mental health in the Honorary British Awards to Foreign Nationals in 2015.
