Queer Lit Reading Group

This September the Queer Lit reading group dives headfirst into the poetry of T.S. Eliot prize-winner Joelle Taylor.

The provocatively titled C+nto & Othered Poems charts the history and private lives of women from the butch counterculture of the 90s. It's a love letter (and protest song) to the fierce community of working class lesbians: their bars, motorcycles and heartbreaks; their commitment to joy despite the ever-looming threat of violence from men and the state.

The £5 fee you pay for your place can be redeemed against any book in the shop. Whether you started C+nto that morning or read it a year ago, you're more than welcome to join our spirited discussion over complimentary wine and nibbles!
