Philip Pearce is the chef and owner of the Green Rocket, an award-winning cafe and restaurant in Bath that prides itself on creating brilliant vegan food using local produce. He has been vegan for 26 years and is a firm believer that vegan food doesn’t have to be bland or entirely health-focused.

The Green Rocket Cookbook is a treasure trove of more than 80 tried and tested vegan recipes that have been developed with flavour at their core. Written by Philip Pearce, chef owner of the Green Rocket cafe and restaurant, the book was created in response to popular demand from the many regular and long-term customers who have been asking Philip to share his recipes for years! From breakfasts to homemade store cupboard staples, it’s full of diverse flavours and global inspiration with plenty of gluten-free options. Try making your own Authentic Thai Red Curry, Macadamia Feta or indulgent Biscoff Amaretto Tiramisu at home – whether you follow a plant-based diet or not, this book is packed with flavourful food that will surprise and delight.

Phil joins us in the bookshop to demonstrate some of his best recipes and discuss food, flavour, and Bath restaurant life. Plus, as always, we promise plenty of tasters!
