Join the circus for a taste of this magical, enchanting circus with a talk by Nell and a chance to meet some of the circus acts. Nell and Toti Gifford started Giffords Circus in 2000 and their vision was of a miniature village green circus – packed, rowdy, and glamorous, with  birds, horses and motorbikes bursting from a fluttering white tent – a show for rural families, farmers and filmstars. Since 2000 the Giffords Circus company of painted wagons has toured the rural Southwest, entertaining over 250,000 people. Giffords has experimented with the circus form over the years, weaving theatre, opera, dance and puppetry into the show.

The shows are always idiosyncratic, beautifully designed family shows with a live orchestra, a clown, handmade costumes, and a favourite animal or two.
