John Lanchester has written five novels, including The Wall, longlisted for the 2019 Booker Prize, Capital, The Debt to Pleasure, a book of short stories, and four works of non-fiction. His novels have been translated into twenty-five languages and won several awards. He is a Contributing Editor at the London Review of Books and also writes for the New Yorker.
