John Mullan on Jane Austen

Austen is Britain’s finest literary heroine. To coincide with the 200th anniversary of her death, a new edition of Sense and Sensibility has been published, introduced by John Mullan, the renowned Austen scholar. His edition of Sense and Sensibility celebrates Austen’s experimental use of dialogue and style, and her use of comedy.

John Mullan is a brilliant, passionate and witty lecturer, and Robert and Saber truly believe him to be the finest speaker who has visited Bath over the last ten years.
