In Jane Austen’s Footsteps with Kirsten Elliott and Andrew Swift

Andrew Swift and Kirsten Elliott, two leading authorities on Bath’s literary past, will be taking us on a walk through Bath celebrating the age of Jane Austen, and all that she would have seen and experienced during her time here. Drawing on years of research and discovery, the walk will take us around Bath, showing us where Austen lived during her five year stay and the locations that inspired her novels. Swift and Elliott will be the perfect guides in revealing Bath’s fascinating literary past, and marking the 200th anniversary since Jane Austen’s life.

We’ll be meeting in the bookshop at 10am, before setting out at 10.30am. The walk will last approximately 1-1.5 hours, ending at the Bookshop with a cup of coffee!
