Former FBI Director James Comey on Politics, Justice and America

Fired by By Donald Trump in 2017, the former FBI Director and chief federal prosecutor joins us in Bath to share his insights into power and justice in a dangerous and divided United States. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, he will be talking about what’s at stake for America and the world.

From prosecuting mobsters as an Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of New York in the 1980s to grappling with the legalities of anti-terrorism work as the Deputy Attorney General in the early 2000s to, of course, his tumultuous stint as FBI director beginning in 2013, James Comey has dedicated his life to the pursuit of truth and justice.

James will also be talking about how a  lifetime of experience, knowledge and dedication to justice has helped him write his successful crime novels. In his latest Westport, Lawyer Nora Carleton must clear her name when she is accused of the murder of her colleague at Saugatuck Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund.
