Feminist Reading Group

Welcome to the Feminist Fiction Reading Group!

Every month we will dive into one great book by a female author and, over a glass of wine and some nibbles, discuss the themes of the book, the characters and plot, and engage in conversation around feminist theory and applications in that month's read.

For July's group, we will be reading 'This Is Where We Live' by Kate Hardie. This is an astonishing, inventive debut novel which 'punches you in the guts with beauty, pain and brevity, and pulls you along with the compulsion of a thriller. It's about what it means to be a mother, a daughter, a woman' (Abi Morgan).

And, in a first for the feminist reading group, we will be joined by the author herself! That's right, Kate Hardie will join in the discussion around her gripping book. It's going to be a reading group like no other so make sure to book your place earlier as this is a limited capacity event!
