Wild Ruins, the latest adventure book from Wild Things Publishing is the first extensive travel guide to the follies and ruined buildings of Great Britain. It covers some of the more well-known sites of these islands along with many more weird, wonderful and until now, quite hidden ruined buildings of Britain.

Its Author Dave Hamilton travelled over 10,000 miles to sites from the Cape of Cornwall up to Dunnet Head.  Extensive research uncovered stories of warring clans, double-crossing family members, murders and misfortunes. He will be dropping into Bath to both recount some of the adventures he had whilst writing the book and tell lesser known tales the ruins had to tell.

The evening is also a chance to ask the author his suggestions for the best places in Britain to forage for food, take the kids on a day out, have picnics, tell ghost stories and enjoy the diverse landscape this country has to offer.
