Brewing Britain with Andy Hamilton

With over 200 new breweries opening in the UK every year, there’s no excuse for sticking to “a pint of the usual”. Beer advocate Andy Hamilton has tried hundreds if not thousands of pints (on separate occasions, of course) to find the most warming porters, refreshing IPAs, fortifying stouts and sustaining milds.

Andy will be taking us through Britain’s fine history of beer, from ancient ingredients to modern craft beers. He’ll teach us what makes the perfect pint, and how to brew your own at home. The beer will be provided by the glorious Bath Ales, a brewery that epitomises the meeting of tradition and innovation.
