Anna Higham is the award-winning and highly sought after pastry chef who is making waves on both sides of the Atlantic. She has worked at New York’s Gramercy Tavern and London’s Flor and now runs the pastry section at London’s much-adored The River Cafe.
From rhubarb and tayberries to soft stone fruits and citrons this will be a wonderfully delicious evening with a talk, a cookery demo and some delicious tastings! Anna will be in conversation with Landrace’s Andrew Lowkes.
There will be Cherry Blossom Steam Sponges with Sweet and Pickled Cherries, Ricotta and Olive Oil Cake amongst other pudding tastes from this unique and beautiful book The Last Bite.
This revolutionary and unique book of puddings explores key ingredients season by season. Anna shows you how to work with fruit, grains, fats and chocolate, how to construct a dessert, and how to interrogate seasoning, structure, and texture to magnify flavour and taste.
