Anna Del Conte is widely recognised as the doyenne of Italian cooking with a fabulous and award-winning repertoire cookbooks to her name. Classics such as Gastronomy of Italy, Classic Food of Northern Italy and her memoir, Risotto with Nettles are always firmly in stock on our cookery shelves. She was awarded the Guild of Food Writers Lifetime Achievement Award and her wonderful BBC programme with Nigella Lawson, The Cook Who Changed Our Lives won ‘Programme of the Year’.

This lunch will celebrate her new book, Vegetables all’Italiana  – a collection of recipes that praises the flavour and texture of each individual root, squash, herb and pulse to teach a new generation of cooks how to enjoy fresh seasonal produce at any time of year. Her recipes range from the classic to more adventurous dishes including panzanella, parmigiana di melanzane, fiori di zucca fritti and beetroot or pumpkin gnocchi.

This will be an extremely popular and memorable lunch with aperitivo and a delicious 3 course menu from Vegetables all’Italiana.
