Dave Hill from Slade

To celebrate the publication of his autobiography, So Here It Is, Dave Hill will be talking about his incredible life and sharing some unseen photos, telling the story of how a boy from Wolverhampton rocked the world with one of the greatest and most loved bands of all time, Slade.

Dave will also be reflecting on his musical influences and how they created his powerful guitar style, which gives Slade’s it’s unique sound. Many musicians have cited Slade as an influence, including grunge bands Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins, punk and indie pioneers the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, the Undertones and the Clash, heavy metal acts such as Kiss, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and Quiet Riot and rock groups including Cheap Trick and Oasis. This is a unique chance to meet one of the most popular and legendary British guitarists.
