The inimitable Rosemary Shrager has a passion for sharing what she loves: delicious food anyone can learn to make and enjoy. She is a larger than life enthusiast, bubbling with laughter and originality, with decades of experience as a chef and cookery teacher, and knows how to make even the most nervous of cooks feel confident in the kitchen.

With her cooking stripes earned in Pierre Koffman’s kitchen at La Tante Claire, her new book, Rosemary Shrager’s Cookery Course, is aimed at beginners and those who want to become more accomplished in the kitchen. With each chapter the recipes become more skilful – the egg chapter begins with a perfectly poached egg and ends with a soufflé and the chicken section starts with a simple roast chicken and ends with a bird within a bird.  With Rosemary’s guidance and delicious dishes along the way, this is the most enjoyable way to learn to cook.
