The £75 event voucher is redeemable against a beautifully illustrated limited slipcase edition of Beren and Luthien.
Alan Lee, long standing Tolkien illustrator and recipient of an Academy Award for his work on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, will visit the bookshop to talk about his work, focusing on his latest collaboration with the Tolkien Estate Beren and Luthien.
Painstakingly restored from Tolkien’s manuscripts and presented for the first time as a continuous and standalone story, the epic tale of Beren and Luthien will reunite fans of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings with Elves and Men, Dwarves and Orcs and the landscape and creatures unique to Tolkien’s Middle-earth.
This will be an evening of rich fantasy and magnificent art, and a unique opportunity to meet a man who is legend in his own right.
Limited Availability. Admits one, and includes a £8 voucher which can be redeemed against the price of a copy of Beren and Luthien. Voucher valid up to and including the event.

As our event book vouchers have a redeemable value, we do not post them out. They are available for collection from the bookshop at any point before the event (and there is often a slight incentive with this option), or alternatively they can be collected on the door of the event.
If you require more than 10 places, please contact the bookshop for a group booking so that we can arrange to seat you together.
The full price of your voucher is an advance book deposit against a copy of the book featured at the event, which also guarantees admittance for one person. Event book vouchers are redeemable at any point up to and including the day of the event, but not afterwards.
In order to maintain the great value of our event book vouchers, we have to reduce administration to an absolute minimum. This means that we aren’t able to refund or exchange event book vouchers.
