YA Bookgroup

Our YA Book group is postponed until further notice.

The YA Bookgroup is our informal monthly gathering for our young adult readers where we discuss the latest in young adult fiction and culture. It’s the perfect opportunity for young adult readers to share book recommendations and meet new people, and perfect for aspiring editors and writers alike.

For each group we discuss the books that we’re currently reading and at the end you receive a new, as yet unpublished, copy of a young adult novel. We ask that for each month you bring along a review of the book that we give you. The group is a great way to learn more about the book industry as well as engaging with peers about shared interests on an informal level.

This group is aimed at readers aged 12 + owing to the content within young adult fiction that can often breach themes more complex than that found in fiction for younger children, and we want to provide a comfortable space for discussion. From experience we have found that 12 is a good cut-off point, though we also advise parental discretion. Alternatively, we also run our monthly Galley Book Club which is directed at a younger age group.
