Join three of fictions’ most tremendous new voices for a night of readings and discussion. In their own distinct way, Ribchester, Logan and Chanter explore, unpick and subtly challenge conceptions of identity, gender, and social structure.

Ribchester thrusts her reader into London just as the suffragette movement is reaching fever pitch; fusing history and crime with whimsical humour, she delivers a feel-good tale with a twist. The Well is similarly centered on mystery: set in a Britain that is eerily familiar, water is running out, drought is everywhere; everywhere except for the Well – the farm of a seemingly ordinary family whose mysterious good fortune leads to suspicion, chaos, and ultimately a shocking act of violence.
Inspired in part by Scottish myths and fairytales, The Gracekeepers tells a modern story of an irreparably changed world: one that harbors the same isolation and sadness. In a world divided between those inhabiting the mainland and those who float on the sea, loneliness is just a way of life… until a sudden storm off-shore brings great change.

Join us to discover the worlds and motivations behind these three exquisite new novels.
