Unfortunately this event has had to be cancelled, if you have already booked we will be in contact shortly.

Former Bishop of Durham, Professor of St Mary’s College, and prolific theologian, Tom Wright reconstructs the life and world of the apostle Paul in this gripping biography. Looked on by many as the founder of the Christian church, Paul of Tarsus is a remarkably important figure in the history of the Western world. With an acute understanding of his writings, and an extraordinarily detailed eye, Tom Wright paints a vivid and rounded picture of Paul’s Roman context, providing a full and detailed account of his career from zealous persecutor of the early church to Christian martyr at the hands of Emperor Nero.

We are delighted to welcome Tom back to St Andrews to celebrate the publication of this landmark work, which is an esteemed addition to his respected, thorough, and wide-ranging output. As well as being a scholar of the first rank, Tom is a speaker whose insights — be they historical, interpretative, philosophical, or all three — are sure to enlighten and engage all who can attend.
