The youngest ever chef to be awarded a Michelin Star, Tom Kitchin is one of the most exciting names on the Scottish culinary scene. His recipes are a tantalising blend of classic and contemporary, with a keen focus on utilising seasonal Scottish ingredients. His latest book, Tom Kitchin’s Meat and Game, continues this process of respecting the traditional whilst embracing the innovative.
This beautifully produced volume is a treasure trove of sumptuous recipes, making delicious use of our native game. Covering everything from beef to woodcock, Tom has infused his latest work with a sense of place and history. From Pheasant Cock-a-Leekie to Fife Pie, every classic dish has a fresh twist, and recipes such as Venison Ragout Lasagne are sure to bring out adventurousness in kitchens across the country. Tom will also be demonstrating for us, so this will be a fabulous opportunity to witness a first class chef in action.
We’re delighted to welcome Tom to St Andrews to celebrate this wonderfully rich collection of dishes, set to become a staple on every kitchen’s bookshelf.

As our event book vouchers have a redeemable value, we do not post them out. They are available for collection from the bookshop at any point before the event (and there is often a slight incentive with this option), or alternatively they can be collected on the door of the event.
If you require more than 10 places, please contact the bookshop for a group booking so that we can arrange to seat you together.
The full price of your voucher is an advance book deposit against a copy of the book featured at the event, which also guarantees admittance for one person. Event book vouchers are redeemable at any point up to and including the day of the event, but not afterwards.
In order to maintain the great value of our event book vouchers, we have to reduce administration to an absolute minimum. This means that we aren’t able to refund or exchange event book vouchers.
