Former First Minister of Scotland and lifelong campaigner for Scottish independence Alex Salmond will be joining us in St Andrews to talk about his forthcoming book, which details his fight for the Yes vote in last year’s referendum.

The Dream Shall Never Die: 100 Days That Changed Scotland Forever is Salmond’s personal diary written in the increasingly tense atmosphere of the days leading up to the vote, and taking us right to the epicentre of the Yes campaign. This book reveals the inside story of the dramatic fight for independence, as well as recording Salmond’s thoughts and ideas for the future of an independent Scottish nation and its implications for UK and international politics.

A discussion of the book will be followed by the chance for audience members to put their questions to our speaker, so whatever your politics, don’t miss this opportunity to engage with one of the central figures of the most historic period in recent Scottish history.

To meet the popular demand for this event, we are offering LIVE STREAM places at £6, which include £6 off the book and entry to the adjacent lecture hall, where a live stream of the talk will be screened.
