We are thrilled to announce that Jill Paton Walsh, one of the unsung heroes of English fiction, will be joining us for a late addition to our Autumn Literary Festival. Many people will fondly remember her children’s novels– The Dolphin Crossing, Fireweed and Hengest’s Tale to name but a few; crime fans are continually delighted by her superb series of detective stories, set in Cambridge and featuring amateur detective and college nurse, Imogen Quy. But Jill gained a still greater, and devoted following, when she was chosen to complete the final novel of one of the Queens of Crime herself, Dorothy L. Sayers.

Join us to celebrate the publication of The Late Scholar – the latest addition to a truly faithful continuation of one of the best detective series in the last two centuries.
