We are delighted to welcome broadcaster, writer and Head of Literature and the Spoken Word at the South Bank James Runcie for the latest instalment in his wonderful series featuring the dashing ecclesiastical sleuth, Sidney Chambers. Sidney Chambers and the Problem of Evil sees Sidney once more thrown into the dangerous and difficult world of crime, while navigating his church duties, his slightly chaotic wife Hildegard, and the moral minefield of good and evil… And this time around, trouble is coming to Ely, with Sidney in hot pursuit…

James is a fabulous speaker with an astonishing array of wonderful anecdotes to share and a great supporter and friend of Topping & Company over the years. An evening in his company is an absolute pleasure: do come and join us to hear this fascinating man of the arts speak about writing, crime, and the world of literature.
