Gripping plots, vivid descriptions of the East Anglian landscape and great characterisation make Elly’s crime novels, which are set on the North Norfolk Coast and feature the brilliant forensics expert Ruth Galloway,¬†irresistible.

Ruth Galloway is back in Elly’s latest novel, Dying Fall, along with Cathbad and her daughter, Kate. When she receives a request for help from an old friend in Lancashire, followed closely by the news that he has died in mysterious circumstances, Ruth feels compelled to investigate and soon finds herself mixed up in a dark and uncompromising mystery…

Elly is a superb speaker – interesting, funny and hilariously candid on everything from archaeology to her characters and her time in publishing. This will be a lovely evening with one of our favourite authors of local crime fiction.
