As one half of the Two Fat Ladies, and author of The History of English Food, Clarissa Dickson Wright’s passion for good and honest food has often led her to explore and borrow from the history and regional traditions of this country. Now, with her new book Clarissa’s England, she takes us on another journey.

Travelling to every corner of England, and evoking its distinctive history and regional character, she combines her personal history with culinary asides to create a vivid and unique portrait of the nation. A?woman of extraordinary knowledge and huge passion, Clarissa will no doubt entertain us with her forthright opinions and inimitable wit. Join us for an evening of English eccentricity.
