Join us for an afternoon with prestigious poet and former UK Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy as she comes to Bath as part of a tour celebrating independent bookshops and bringing poetry to the heart of the communities. Over the course of her illustrious life of writing, she has won the T.S Eliot Prize, the Whitbread Award, and the Forward Prize – to name but a few.

We are enormously lucky to also be joined by the former National Poet for Wales Gillian Clarke, Scots Makar Jackie Kay, award winning British-Pakistani poet Imtiaz Dharker, and local poet Sean Borodale. This will be a unique and memorable afternoon as we hear performances from the poets, accompanied by music from instrumentalist and composer John Sampson.
