In 2002 Tristan Hogg and Jon Simon hatched a plan – to create the most delicious and wholesome pie the British public had ever tasted. With Tristan’s formal chef training and Jon’s experience of running successful London pubs (and the added bonus of being brothers-in-law!) they set about perfecting the first range of pies from a lowly basement in the heart of their hometown, Bristol.
Almost a decade later, they are now amongst Britain’s leading chefs, and their delicious pies have acquired a cult following. On December 14th, they will be joining us in the Bookshop – and bringing along plenty of tasty samples – to talk about the secrets behind making a delicious pie.
