Our beloved reading group makes its 2016 debut at last!
We kick off this year’s reading with the brilliantly absorbing A God in Ruins, the Costa Novel Award winning novel by the incredible Kate Atkinson. Gripping, funny and emotionally devastating, the novel follows the life of Teddy Todd, soldier and family-man, as he stumbles through the twentieth century. Atkinson writes, with sparkling authenticity, of how it feels to be alive.
Join us on the evening of the second Monday of February to sit with wine, tea, coffee and nibbles as we discuss our thoughts, feelings and reactions to the novel.
Please not that the reading group will be fully ticketed – the price of the ticket will be redeemable against the following month’s reading group book.
