Esteemed wildlife filmmaker Martin Hayward-Smith was commissioned to make a film about hares in his local Norfolk countryside, and in the process gained a fascination with one of our most elusive mammals. Spending a year watching the hares of Norfolk in their stunning natural surroundings, Martin created My Year With Hares, a collection of photographs and accounts of the hare’s most private and almost unseen moments. Come along to hear from Martin about his incredible year with hares, the hare and its fascinating role in our folklore, and experience some of his stunning photographs.
