Jennifer Saunders

Winner of three BAFTAs, an International Emmy Award and a British Comedy Award, Jennifer Saunders has delighted audiences on stage and screen for over three decades. French and Saunders became Britain’s best loved female comedy duo back in the 1980s and Absolutely Fabulous, when it hit the screens in the 90s, and became an instant, world-wide hit. Throughout her career Jennifer has brought us ingenious, unforgettable, and outrageous characters, who have unfailingly entertained us.

Now in her autobiography, Bonkers, one of our leading British comedians has turned her attention to her own life – one filled with incident – often unplanned, but always colourful. There’s never a dull moment – whether she is working or travelling, and she recounts with honesty, emotion and – needless to say – humour, the triumphs and challenges of her career, from her early days of stand-up to her recent struggle with breast cancer. We are especially pleased to present this evening with one of the nation’s most engaging and hilarious personalities, as our first ever Topping & Company event in Cambridge.
